The research team of this Division is strategically organized into four teams—Net-Zero Transition, Technological Innovation, Digital Economy, and International Networks—to assist the government and industries in addressing challenges arising from the current international political and economic landscape.
The Net-Zero Transition Team focuses on integrating energy and environmental issues, fostering understanding and engagement in net-zero transitions, and ensuring policy formulation balances economic benefits with social justice.
The Technological Innovation Team explores the patterns, key factors, and impacts of technology adoption to propose strategies for technological innovation, evaluate policy impacts and effectiveness, foster industry-academia collaboration, and promote interdisciplinary research.
The Digital Economy Team analyzes global trends in digital technology innovation and the developmental impacts of emerging digital technologies on industries, economies, and societies while formulating policies for digital transformation and technology industry growth.
The International Networks Team analyzes global supply chain networks and international trade, with a focus on corporate resilience and strategies to mitigate external shocks. The aim is to actively promote cross-border strategic partnerships, knowledge sharing, and industrial collaboration.
