This Center focuses on interdisciplinary research in the fields of energy and the environment to tackle critical issues like climate change, resource depletion, environmental pollution, and transitions to low-carbon economies. We aim to propose innovative and actionable policies and management strategies to address these challenges effectively.
By planning and promoting environmental governance policies, we aim to assess environmental taxes and fees, carbon pricing, emissions trading, and performance standards to offer decision-making insights. Additionally, the Center supports enterprises in their low-carbon transitions by assisting with carbon inventories, carbon footprint assessments, and carbon neutrality strategies. It also advocates internal carbon pricing mechanisms to improve industrial sustainability and competitiveness.
The Center offers professional training, educational programs, and research exchanges aimed at strengthening knowledge and practical skills in environmental management across multiple sectors to enhance societal awareness and engagement with environmental issues. We actively promote relevant policies and organize professional events to encourage collaboration among industry, government, academia, and the general public in the pursuit of environmental sustainability.
