The Center values independence, impartiality, and objectivity and aspires to be Taiwan’s leading institution for macroeconomic forecasting. We host the “Taiwan Economic Forecast Press Conference and Seminar” every quarter (in January, April, July, and October) to release Taiwan’s economic forecasts and related research findings regularly. The goal is to provide an information-sharing platform and a bridge for the institute to communicate with stakeholders on economic trends and observations. In addition to anticipating domestic and international macroeconomic trends, the Center also analyzes Taiwan’s short-term economic direction and long-term changes. It evaluates market dynamics and the effectiveness of government policies through quantitative analysis to provide references for policy planning and assist relevant units with performance assessments and early warning analyses. Recently, the Center has employed quantitative models and statistical indicators in response to geopolitical and regional economic trade risks to help monitor potential risks and develop early response strategies.
