This paper explores and scrutinizes the recent progress of the trade and investment relationship between China and the Southeast Asia. On the whole, China has become an increasingly important economy in the Asia area and undertaken aggressive actions to promote the economic relationship with Southeast Asian countries. We will review that to what extent of the trade relationship between Taiwan and the Southeast Asia could be adversely affected.
