In order to find out the influencing factors of the personal pension demand, this paper conducts sampling and questionnaire survey on the unretired people over 25 years old in Taiwan. Results from analysis of variance (ANOVA), post-mortem comparison analysis and multiple regression model analysis suggest that in addition to males who have more pension preparations than women, higher education levels, fewer supporters, and monthly expenditures have more adequate pension preparations. However, for those with more monthly income and retirement financial planning, the pension gap is relatively lager.
