Taiwan economy to shrink by 3.72% this year: forecast

By quarter, Taiwan’s economy fell 2.08 percent in the third quarter and will grow 5.31 percent in the fourth quarter, it said.

For next year, Chung Hua gave a more optimistic estimate of a growth of 4.65 percent, with consumption set to grow 1.91 percent and private investment 8.16 percent.
