The Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER) sets to hold “The 2008 Second Quarter Taiwan Economy Prediction Press Conference and Symposium” from10AM to 11:30AM, April 17, at B003 Conference Room of CIER. In the Conference we will release the 2008 second quarter economy prediction figures as well as discuss the economic prospects of 2008 and its influential factors. To ensure that the press media can cover the whole news smoothly and the scholars who attend the conference can share their opinions without being interrupted, we will divide the conference into two phases, the first phase is press conference, from 10AM to 10:20 AM, and the second phase is the symposium, from 10:20 AM to 11:30 AM. The related Q&A section will continue at the free time near the end of the symposium if it is not completed in the first phase.
The conference will be held by President Shaw Dai-Gee and will invite members in the industries, government and academic fields to join in and have a discussion.
