I. Background:
The forum is scheduled for October 15 at the Lecture Hall of the GIS Taipei Tech Convention Center. Titled “International Forum on High-Tech Supply Chain Realignment: Investment Resilience and Sustainable Governance,” the event will address global investment strategies amid geopolitical tensions and economic fragmentation, as well as recent developments in global investment governance and regulation. The first session will examine how geoeconomic fragmentation is reshaping global investment trends and national policies. The second session will explore developments in global investment governance to help Taiwan’s key industries navigate international investment rules, strengthen resilience and competitiveness, and inform future policy and industry positioning. These discussions aim to inform future policymaking and industrial strategy development.
This forum aims to strengthen dialogue between policymakers and industry practitioners. Domestic and international experts will present on emerging trends in global investment policy and governance, followed by moderated discussions with scholars and participants. Through focused analysis and interactive Q&A sessions, the forum will translate key insights into practical strategies to help businesses navigate evolving regulations and achieve sustainable growth.
