9/23 Geopolitical Technology Strategy and Governance Seminar

Event Purpose

Geopolitical dynamics have become a critical factor or constraint influencing international economic and strategic technological development models. As the new round of tariff battles under “Trump 2.0” unfolds, the U.S.-China technology conflict is having a growing impact. This is affecting various sectors in Taiwan, including new investment strategies focused on the east. It is also shaping the progress of advanced technologies and industries. Meanwhile, the key technology sectors that major countries are focused on—including semiconductors, AI, humanoid robots, and drones—have continued to evolve and generate new development directions, technological strategies, and governance issues.

This seminar focuses on the core theme of technology deployment and governance under the influence of geopolitics. It examines critical development issues and trends both domestically and internationally across 4 key topics: “Beyond CMOS/Moore’s Law: International Benchmarks,” “The Diversified Evolution and Competition-Cooperation Dynamics of AI,” “Semiconductor Ecosystem Transformation,” and “Emerging Technology Development.” We cordially invite experts and stakeholders from all sectors to actively participate in this event.
