
After Industrial revolution, rapid economic development causes severe damage to our environment, damages the eco-system in the earth and threats the human beings. To solve these problems, international community now tries to find the consensus from every country. Therefore, the British Trade and Cultural Office, Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER) and Green Trade Project Office of Ministry of Economic Affairs jointly hold a conference “RECCS Road-Show Project: Increasing Climate Change Impact Assessment Capacity in Asia” at the CIER on the 12th of March. This event invites the experts from Korea and Taiwan to share their experiences in climate change research.
The RECCS Road-Show Project in Asian countries helps disseminate the results of the economic analysis of climate change in Korea and share insights gained from the Korean case. The RECCS Road-Show will also serve to facilitate future research on risks and consequences of climate change among Asian countries; it may also set foundation for stronger regional network among the participating countries.
