In the rapidly evolving landscape of the 21st century, cross-disciplinary technology policies that align with societal needs and economic benefits are pivotal in driving national development. To this end, this Center was established in 2010 with the mission of leveraging and integrating social science methodologies, such as foundational survey research, economic impact assessments, and cost-benefit analyses. Our research team conducts studies on the socioeconomic benefits and value assessments of various national policies while assisting the government in understanding the socioeconomic impacts of these policies and formulating effective response strategies.
Research Focus and Objectives
The Center’s research team undertakes commissioned projects from the public and private sectors to evaluate diverse policies. By harnessing our team’s specialized expertise and employing social science-based research methods, we are able to deliver scientifically supported evaluation results and policy recommendations. Our team’s key research areas include the development and construction of technology and innovation indicators, forward-looking economic policy research, strategic planning, macroeconomic indicators, cost-benefit analysis, economic valuation of non-market goods, etc.
