Research focus and objectives

Organize a series of lifelong learning courses and academic seminars in response to the needs of the knowledge economy era.

The Center primarily aims to strengthen service to society and industry by organizing academic activities, lectures, and educational courses across various fields by providing current financial and economic knowledge to all sectors and meeting the demands for “lifelong learning.” Since 2008, the Center has held the “Chung-Hua Financial and Economic Forum” annually, with consistent participation from over 20 companies. The Center has developed five major series of activities: the “Chung-Hua Financial Policy Summit,” “Chung-Hua Financial Trends Seminar,” “Chung-Hua Financial Special Reports,” “Chung-Hua Elite Leadership Program,” and “Mainland China Financial and Economic Issues Lectures.” These initiatives are designed to equip businesses with a greater understanding of international finance and management. They also aim to create a high-level platform for dialogue and interaction among the industry, government, academia, and research sectors. The goal is to achieve benefits such as enhanced tracking of financial trends, informed policy recommendations, effective talent training, and improved public welfare. The Center has also accepted government commissions to organize various domestic and international financial forums, cross-strait economic and trade exchanges, symposiums, information sessions, seminars, delegation visits, workshops, training camps, and civic cafés.
